Mulalo Nemataheni is a Certified Financial Planner by Profession. She is a literacy activist, who is passionate about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, education and gender equality. She is the Founder and President of ImPower’d Woman Book Club, a reading initiative with the aim to empower, educated and celebrate women.
This organisation was started in July 2019, as a group of 3 women, and has now grown to be a network of over 300 women all over the world. They read one book a month and review last weekend of the month. This is more than a book club, it is a platform for women to come together and support one another, share opportunities and also provide with the required mentorship.
ImPower’d Woman won the Business Engage Accenture Gender Mainstreaming Award in 2022 under non-profit category in Southern Africa, for empowerment of women in the community, under the leadership of Mulalo Nemataheni. Their aspirations are that of a Global Women Empowerment Movement as it is a network of women who believe in their own strength.
ImPower’d Woman is a registered non-profit organisation working for the rights and empowerment of women.
